Children’s Activities Association
The Children’s Activities Association is an industry-led, not-for-profit community interest company founded and governed by experts to help parents, schools, nurseries and all children’s activities providers by raising the standard of children’s activities as well as giving more families access to these excellent activities.
Founded in 2014, the CAA has established the only independent accreditation covering all organised children’s activities with more than 200,000 children every week attending a CAA member activity. The CAA provides business support to new and growing children’s activities providers through its network of recommended business partner who specialise in working in this sector.
By supporting children’s activities providers in this way, the CAA is embedding best-practice into the sector and making it very easy for parents, schools and nurseries to make an educated, informed and safe choice regarding their class, club or group.
Everyone at the CAA is thrilled to launch the first Children’s Activities Week to celebrate the wonderful sector we all care about so much and that makes such a positive impact on hundreds of thousands of families every day.
By bringing together parents, carers, children, providers, schools and nurseries alongside experts and supporting business we are raising awareness of the importance and the positive impact children’s activities have on all aspects of family life and on society as a whole.
Thank you to everyone who is joining us – we are the children’s activities revolution!

Caudwell Children charity is dedicated to changing the lives of disabled children by providing practical and emotional support and since 2000 has provided services worth over £39 million to over 25,000 children with over 600 different medical conditions.
We’re committed to giving disabled children a brighter future by providing the life changing practical and emotional support they need to lead an active and independent life.
Founded by philanthropist, John Caudwell, his vision was to create a sustainable children’s charity that offered benefactors’ transparency and peace of mind that 100% of their donation was being used to directly change children’s lives.
By donating the cost of the charity’s annual management and administration overheads, John has guaranteed an efficient way for individuals and businesses to change the lives of thousands of disabled children living in the UK.
In 2018 the charity will see the completion of its biggest project to date with the opening of the Caudwell International Children’s Centre at Keele University in Staffordshire.
Caudwell Children are passionate about children reaching their full potential, a mission shared by the Children’s Activities Association and the thousands of fabulous activity providers all of the country. We are proud to be a part of Children’s Activities Week 2018 and excited by the prospect of helping so many children achieve their dreams.
